sourced from a military surplus shop in India, this heavy duty parachute material is actually two fabrics that have been combined- a rip stop fabric with threads woven in a lattice pattern to prevent tearing, and a plain weave non-slip fabric. the multiplicity of designs puebco has made from these particular materials is in part inspired by the used industrial belts as well as the history imbedded in the original military use of the materials.
